ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival

ANIMASYROS, the largest International Animation Festival in Greece and one of the biggest in Europe, returns to Syros. The festival includes screenings, special tributes, new domestic and international collaborations, a VR lounge, educational workshops for children, teenagers, adults, people with disabilities, and seniors. There are also parties and parallel activities.
At the same time, within the ANIMASYROS Market — a key hub for the animation industry in the Eastern Mediterranean — pitching forums, presentations, roundtables, seminars, masterclasses, and networking meetings are organized for industry professionals.

The main theme of this year’s festival, titled “Animated Cosmos,” is dedicated to space and runs through all festival pillars, aiming to highlight how the art of animation approaches, explores, and depicts this vast and mysterious realm for humanity.
