A father with dementia and his hysterical daughter struggle in vain to communicate. Each one, trapped in their own disorder, trembles internally, searching for personal redemption. The daughter has completely dedicated herself to her father. She visits him daily, cares for him, and bears full responsibility for him, having set her own life aside entirely.
This particular day unfolds as a climax of the father’s condition. He no longer recognizes her. Fixated on a stopped clock, he is confined to repetitive patterns, stubbornly denying the truth. He denies his children, denies the job he once served, and denies his inability to care for himself.
